The Smith Shugendo SH35 Vertical Casting rod is a 2-piece casting rod for vertical fishing with light to medium-heavy lures. This model is the casting version of the SH10 Vertical and is designed for precise presentation, excellent bite detection, and controlled fishing directly under the boat.
Its soft tip makes it easier to detect delicate contacts and subtle bites, especially when targeting zander. At the same time, the rod has a clear power reserve in the butt section, allowing it to set the hook effectively and handle larger fish in current or deeper water.
With a length of 200 cm and a casting weight of 7–28 g, the SH35 is well-suited for vertical fishing with jigs, shads, and other compact soft baits where sensitivity, precision, and control are more important than long casting distance.
