The Smith Dragonbait Trout D-Contact 7'2 Spinning is a 2-piece trout rod developed for medium to large rivers. This model is designed for anglers who use D-Contact, larger lipped wobblers, and heavy sinking lures in strong currents.
The more pronounced tip action provides excellent control for precise guiding of heavy sinking minnows and hardbaits. At the same time, the rod has more power in the butt section than the Classic model, which provides better support for powerful casts, hook sets, and controlling larger fish in currents.
The 40 cm long handle makes it easier to perform powerful overhead casts and provides better control when fishing lures at a distance. This is a technical Dragonbait Trout model for targeted fishing for large trout, sea trout, and other salmonids with compact, heavy lures.
