The S-shape of this spoon lure originated in Norway and is very well-known in the Nordic countries for fishing for salmonids and other salmon-like fish. It has been improved by Japanese manufacturers, who have added a coating of pure gold or silver to the concave part to provide extra shine and reflections in the water.

A split ring eye size 4 is placed as far back on the main body as possible, to optimize the possibility of using different hooks.
