Kort om modellen
The Smith Dragonbait Trout Lake Travel 8'3 is a 5-piece travel rod developed for trout fishing in mountain lakes and larger lakes. With a length of 252 cm and a compact transport length of 54 cm, this model is well-suited for situations where long casting distances are required without sacrificing easy transport.
The casting weight of 4–15 g makes the rod particularly suitable for small spoons, light wobblers, and compact trout lures that need to be cast far across open water surfaces. The long handle section provides good support during casting and contributes to better control over a long line.
The highly progressive action provides even load during a fight and helps to keep the fish better throughout the battle. This is a specialized lake travel model for anglers who pursue trout and other salmonids in larger lakes and mountain waters.
