The Smith Shugendo SH13 H Casting is a compact and technical casting rod for hardbaits, stickbaits, and lighter vertical jigging. The model has the same basic action as the SH11 but is more powerful and covers a heavier range of use.
The soft tip makes the rod well-suited for jerkminnows and stickbaits, where the lure requires precise movements without the rod being too brutal at the top. At the same time, the H classification and 14–42 g casting weight provide more power for larger lures and more decisive hooksets.
The SH13 H is also very suitable for vertical jigging for zander, where low weight, resonance, and controlled lure presentation are important. This is a versatile casting model for anglers who want one rod for both hardbait fishing and technical predator fishing from a boat.
